Houser’s Hotel on The Bay
At our 1921 colonial-style inn, bay breezes and marina views characterize that classic Fire Island feel. The rooms, furnished in a simple country style, are airy; and overlook the Great South Bay. The real appeal of this hotel is the Hideaway restaurant and Houser’s Bar. Established in 1921, Houser's Hotel is Fire Island's longest-running, continuously operated restaurant. The bar was opened after the end of prohibition in 1933. Housers Bar offers casual bayfront dining and a full-service bar.
